Content Marketing Specialist

The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for working within the marketing team to develop content for lead generation marketing programs. This role requires an entrepreneurial and creative individual with exceptional communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a track record of delivering compelling content for digital, email, web, video and written marketing material and communication.

Responsibilities :

º Lead the development of marketing content for assigned portfolios/projects for all marketing channels and audiences, including product information, promotional campaigns, advertising, digital marketing and thought leadership events and webinars

º Develop content and creative direction for case studies, white papers, reports, social posts, landing pages, ads, emails, videos, website, and other media channels

º Provide graphic design and editing to campaigns. Support team members on communications projects through all stages to meet established timelines, ensuring all media resources adhere to the organization’s official brand guidelines.

º Assist with creating materials for presentations, conferences including evites, registration, save-the-date notices, promotional materials, branding and print materials for events and webinars (presentations, promotional materials, take-away documents)

º Create print and digital assets with Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator for use such as product brochures, sales kits, ad banners, whitepapers and e campaigns

º Advance the publication of blogs, articles, and thought pieces that meet sales and marketing department needs and interests. Blog management – as requested produce blog posts to meet needs of different business units – pulling together details, copy editing, procure/produce graphics, etc.

º Develop content and creative direction for case studies, white papers, reports, articles, social posts, landing pages, ads, emails, videos, website, and other media channels

º A multi-platform ninja, who is technical and knowledgeable on all social platforms, and can post, tweet, snap, develop stories, and communicate on behalf of ChannelAssist

º Monitor and update a content calendar that outlines important themes and dates to post to platforms Post updates to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in line with the content calendar and as appropriate to other accounts

º Monitor and track monthly statistics and changes and provide reports that outline both quantitative and qualitative results to leadership. Monitor community management and respond to inquiries in a timely manner

º Monitor website assisting with regular updates and changes as needed and implement ongoing website content enhancements

º Partner with the Marketing Services team on the development and execution of marketing programs for B2B prospects and clients and support the marketing and communications needs of other departments including Operations, Customer Success and Sales Enablement

º Collaborate with the Product and Project Management teams to determine marketing objectives across assigned lines of business/projects and create content that meets their specific needs

º Work with internal teams to ensure communication is brand compliant and targeted by persona

º Collaborate with the Sales team to develop sales marketing materials

º Manage agency/third party vendor relationships including public relations activities

º Act as ChannelAssist brand advocate and champion the brand guidelines across all marketing touchpoints

º Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures

º Perform other marketing duties as assigned

Qualifications :

º Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Web Design and Content Management, Videography, or other related discipline from an accredited program.

º 4-7 years related writing/communications/web/design/social media experience in B2B environment

º Experience within the channel, technology, or software industry specific to B2B marketing and communications

º Exceptional grammar, communication and writing skills on all media platforms. Excellent working knowledge and experience in various software and reporting tools such as Microsoft Office, Webflow, WordPress, Hootsuite and an ability to quickly learn new applications. Superior design and video skills

º Understanding of social media platforms and best practices Expertise in using Adobe Creative Cloud applications preferred (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Audition, and ability to learn new applications quickly)

º Self-motivated and results oriented individual with excellent organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills. Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail.

º Excellent project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as required. A highly effective communicator with well-developed presentation skills
