Toronto, Canada - Inside Sales Associate

As a member of ChannelAssist you will be working for a dynamic, fast growing and privately owned Canadian software company providing end to end development and management of channel engagement programs. Since 2002 we have helped companies from mid-size to enterprise increase channel revenue by optimizing sales rep engagement and visibility.

You will be reporting to the VP, Business Development who is responsible for the overall growth of the business. Your responsibilities will be to generate revenue through the addition of new clients.

The Role:

• Generating revenue from inbound leads, sales prospecting into new markets and build client relationships

• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, industry characteristics, and competitive environment and be able to effectively communicate to customer senior management

• Proactively maintain and service leads assigned to your team to ensure consistent growth of territory customer base

• Negotiating with clients

• Uncovering potential cross-sell leads for enterprise accounts

• Develop and maintain client relationships with the aim of potentially developing new revenue streams as well as client retention

To be successful in this role, you will have the following essential criteria:

• Sales experience

• Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and selling skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

• Be readily available and willing to travel, and be able to handle significant autonomy and responsibility

• Ability to give presentations both one-on-one and in group setting

• Excellent phone and communication skills

• Innate and overwhelming desire to sell

• Bachelor’s Degree or college diploma

• Experience working with Microsoft suite of software and CRM
